Dredge chicken pieces in flour that has been flavored with salt and pepper.
Fry in hot fat until brown about 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove chicken pieces from the frying pan and place in a baking dish or roaster. Loosen browning from the frying pan with a little water and pour over the chicken.
Smother the chicken with sour cream and bake uncovered in a 350° to
375° F. oven for 1 hour.
